I am anticipating spring, much like many anticipated the new year, I am ready to be done with winter.
I am looking forward to a change of scenery. I can’t wait to see green grass, new blooms, and blue skies. I know it will be a few months away for us as I sit here and look at the thermometer plummet toward -10 degrees as the sun sets here in Southern Minnesota.
For some of you, spring is not so far away, in fact, it’s just around the corner. In Idaho my parents have crocus popping up. It’s not a bad year to have spring come a bit early!
My love of flowers comes from my mother who is always patiently tending to her garden and as a child let me help as much as I wanted. One of my secret talents—I’m an excellent rose pruner.
